Great news from the folks over at news.softpedia.com as they have reported an announcement from Orange UK that it has managed to secure an exclusive. The deal is for the exclusive distribution of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in the country. It is the first device to be released by the Japanese - Swedish handset vendor with the Google Android operating system and we can expect to see it in both black and white from Orange from April.

Leading mobile phone provider Samsung Mobile (Samsung Telecommunications America) announced recently the launch of a new ad campaign for one of its most popular handsets on the United States market, the Samsung Omnia II. According to the company, the campaign, which features celebrity athlete Lamar Odom, started on Thursday, March 18. At the same time, the company notes that the campaign is set to be aired during the College Basketball Championships via local CBS television stations and websites.

By 1 July, new rules will come into force in the European Union which will cap bills for downloading data. But, until then, people travelling in Europe could face unlimited bills.
